The Nechako Valley Exhibition Grounds is a 42 acre non-profit equestrian and agricultural facility serving the community of Vanderhoof, British Columbia, as well as the entire northern interior region.
We offer pen and stall horse-boarding facilities, a heated indoor riding arena with spectator stands, a lobby, washrooms, and a large mezzanine, an outdoor riding arena, numerous large outbuildings for 4-H events, Beef Cattle shows, and company/family barbecues/picnics, as well as fields for community fun days!
The Grounds are run by the Nechako Valley Exhibition Society, consisting of a Board of Directors and general membership as well as annual Arena Rider members.
The Nechako Valley Exhibition Society was incorporated in March of 1970 for the purpose of hosting the annual Nechako Valley Exhibition (Fall Fair) , which runs for 3 days in the third weekend of August every year.
The year-round events hosted here (rodeo, riding programs, special events, clinics, and more) form part of our mandate to provide a first-rate community facility as well as support the Fall Fair, which draws over 6,000 people from near and far.
The Nechako Valley Exhibition Society is a proud member of the BC Association of Agricultural Fairs and Exhibitions ( BCAAFE ) as well as the International Association of Fairs and Expositions ( IAFE ).
If you have an interest in any aspect of agriculture and want to get involved with the community, please consider becoming a member of the Nechako Valley Exhibition Society! Everyone is welcome to attend our monthly meetings, held the third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the lobby of the indoor arena.

We have space for advertisers- a 4 x 8 billboard posted in the spectator stands at the indoor riding arena or on the entry gates costs only $200 per year and ensures your local business gains exposure at our biggest events.
