The Nechako Valley Exhibition Society

The Nechako Valley Exhibition Society is a non-profit society. The Society is run by an Executive Board and has a general membership. The Society owns and maintains the 42 acre Exhibition Grounds, where they put on community events (such as the annual Fall Fair), and rent the facilities to other community groups, businesses, and private individuals. Several clubs are closely associated with the NVES and use the Grounds regularly. And of course, the Society would not be able to grow without the continued support of the local sponsors.

If you have an interest in any aspect of agriculture and want to get involved in the community, please become a member or volunteer of the NVE Society!

Everyone is welcome to attend our MONTHLY meetings, held the third Monday of each month at 7:00pm in the NVES office (inside the Arena building). Click here for the list of 2009 meeting dates.

NEW! Now you can download the the NVES meeting minutes and agendas. Go to member information.

To promote and encourage the development of farming and livestock industries in the northern interior.

To increase public awareness of the region's agricultural potential through the hosting of an annual fall fair, and to provide a venue for displaying products and talents in friendly competition.

To maintain the fair grounds and facilities in good condition, and to make same available to any person(s) who wish(es) to use the ground and/or facilities in accordance with the Society's objectives.

To provide residents an opportunity to associate with and learn from others in the agricultural field and thereby positively contribute to the standard of products and livestrock produced in the northern interior.
