Nechako Valley Exhibition - Fall Fair Online
The NVE Society and the Fall Fair Committee strive each year to make the Nechako Valley Exhibition a true country fair that is fun for the whole family. The NVES welcomes any suggestions or ideas for improving the fair. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering or finding out more about the fair and exhibition.
The Nechako Valley Exhibition is held the third weekend in August each year.

2009 NVE a Great Success!
The Nechako Valley Exhibition Society would like to extend a HUGE thank-you to all of our wonderful overworked volunteers. The 2009 Fair was an overwhelming success because of you guys and gals. The list is too long to acknowledge individuals and we would inevitably forget someone but you know who you are. If you are one of the many folks who enjoyed the fair and you know a volunteer who helped make it happen, give them a pat on the back. They so deserve it.
To the folks who came out for the events, thank-you for supporting our fair. Vanderhoof has much to be proud of and our agricultural fair is one of them.
We, the committee, will be taking a few weeks to take a breather and then we will begin the planning for 2010. If you have any suggestions, ideas or even constructive criticism we would like to hear from you. Of course we always welcome new members.
Next Year's Theme in the Exhibit Building
The Exhibit Building theme for 2010 is bird houses. Incorporate bird houses into your exhibit entry for fun and to win a prize. Also, come to the Exhibit Building and count all the bird houses in the building to win more prizes.
Volunteers Always Needed
We are going to start planning for the 2010 fall fair this winter. As always we are looking for volunteers to help at fair time.
So if you have a particular skill or interest and you would like to get involved, please contact us with your questions, or simply download the volunteer form and send it in. Any help will be appreciated!
Pictures at the Fair
Remember to bring your camera to the fair and take lots of pictures of events and entries. We would love to see and maybe even use your photos on this website, or in next year's Fair Book. There are even classes in the Photography Division that you can enter your pictures from last year's fair.
