Message from the Nechako Valley Exhibition President

Come out and celebrate with us -- the 44th Annual Nechako Valley Exhibition will be held on August 20-22, 2010.

Life in the Nechako Valley is supported and enhanced by our rural roots. Come and meet your friends and neighbours while enjoying all kinds of food and fun. There will be all sorts of equestrian events, cattle showing, and herding trials for you to watch or participate in. There will also be barns full of small and large animals for kids to get close to and to learn about. There will be a pet parade and handlers will be available to answer any questions you have about their animal.

As always the exhibit building will be filled with crafts, produce, baked goods and art: why not enter something of your own and share your efforts with everyone. You can also show your support for our 4-H kids and buy a farm animal for yourself at the auction on Saturday night.

Friday night will feature the final auditions and judging for the Nechako Talent Search as well as the Fair theme song competition between three of our elementary schools. Also a new feature at the Fair this year will be lots of games for kids, 25¢ to play and many of prizes to choose from.
