Re-Build of the Bandshelter - The Alcan and Community Bandstand
The NVES would like to thank the many sponsors and volunteers for coming together and helping realize the building of the new bandshelter. The shelter collapsed last winter and was re-built by July 2007. The bandstand is an important part of the Exhibition Grounds, and is used during the annual Nechako Valley Exhibition, family and group picnics, corporate functions and other events. The names of the sponsors and volunteers will be placed on a plaque that will be hung in the bandstand shelter year round.
