Judging Info: Visual Judgment based on breed specific standards. Not limited to, but including plumage quality/color, legs, feet, comb/wattle, eye/beak color.

FALL FAIR

 

Divisions 4-7a Special Rules:

  1. Please submit your Small Animal Entry Form and Fees by August 5th/24 to reserve your spot. *Please Note that the largest enclosures (Division 4,5 & 7a) are limited and fill up quickly.
  2. Animals must be brought to the barn on Thursday, August 15th, between 4-8 PM unless otherwise pre-arranged with the Small Animal Barn chairperson.
  3. No sick or diseased animal will be permitted to attend. Disqualification or prohibition of any animal from the Exhibition will be at the discretion of the Small Animal Barn Chairperson.
  4. Secure Enclosures and shavings are provided by the Exhibition. Exhibitors must supply their own feed/watering apparatus.
  5. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the care of their animal(s) throughout the weekend. Please check on your pet(s) frequently and keep your space tidy.
  6. Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to creatively display information about their pet(s) Including Breed, Age and Name. Fairgoers LOVE to learn about the animals they are viewing. All exhibitors who participate will be entered in a draw to receive a $10 Gift Card.
  7. Clean shavings and water hose are located just outside of the barn. Rakes, Manure Forks, shovels, and wheelbarrows are available for use throughout the weekend.
  8. The advertisement of animals “For Sale” is permitted.
  9. All animals must be removed from the barn between 4-5 PM on Sunday, August 18th.
  10. Exhibitors are required to clean their pen(s) thoroughly after removing animals. Failure to comply may result in future Exhibitor bans from the Small Animal Barn, and/or a $20 fine. 
    - XL Chain-link Pen/Stall Requirements – Remove all manure and heavily soiled shavings to the designated area outside of the barn. Sweep any remaining bedding to the center of the pen.
    - Poultry/Rabbit Enclosure Requirements – All shavings/contents must be entirely removed from the cage and discarded at the designated area outside of the barn.
